On Saturday November 12th a resident of Pike County was walking his dog in state game lands when he by chance came across "Bo".
Bo was lying in the woods with an arrow stuck in his shoulder, he apparently was there for a few days, was also emaciated and covered in ticks.
We took him to our friend Dr. Carlos on in Valley Central who operated on Bo.
Unfortunately Bo had to be euthanized once he got back to the shelter.

My husband and I will be mailing a check to the shelter in the morning. It's simply horrifying how some people treat animals.
